Honey Glazed Salmon
Ready in 20 minutes
Serves 6 people
Ingredients
2 lbs wild-caught salmon
Avocado oil (or equivalent)
⅓ cup raw honey
¼ cup coconut aminos
1 lemon - juiced
1 tsp red pepper flakes
3 cloves of garlic - chopped
Pink Himalayan salt + pepper
Preparation
Rinse + pat salmon dry
In a pan, drizzle enough oil to cover the bottom. Heat on medium.
S + P the salmon, then place skin side up into pan. Cook until browned - about 4-5 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a bowl whisk together honey, coconut aminos, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
Flip salmon over to skin side down, once browned.
Add garlic to pan and let simmer for 1 minute.
Pour marinade into pan over the salmon. Let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Once cooked, peel skin off the salmon before eating.

Tips
Cook on low-medium heat if you’re unsure, salmon cooks quickly and gets dried out easily. Also, you can peel the salmon skin off from the start if you choose.
