Chocolate Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops chocolate protein powder

  • 1/2 cup walnuts

  • 9 dates

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 2 Tbsp cacao powder

  • 1/2 cup almond butter

  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 2 Tbsp hemp seeds

  • 2 Tbsp honey

  • sprinkle cinnamon (about 1/2 tsp)


Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients into a food processor, or a mixing bowl, and blend together until nuts are chopped and ingredients are evenly distributed.

    1. It’s much easier with a food processor or blender as the almond butter and honey are sticky!

  2. Once blended, take out the blade insert. Use your hands to form balls. To help keep all the energy bites a consistent size, you could use a mini ice cream scooper to grab the same amount each time.

  3. Enjoy!

These are a great midday snack, a bite while on the go, or even an evening treat.
