Chia Seed Jam
Ingredients
¼ cup chia seeds
3 cups berries of choice (I used mixed berries)
⅓ cup manuka honey
½ cup filtered water
Preparation
Soak chia seeds in ½ cup water in the refrigerator until it becomes a jelly like substance - 2-3 hours or overnight is best.
Heat berries + honey in a saucepan on medium until soft.
Stir chia seeds into saucepan. Mix well.
Remove from heat and let cool before eating!
Store in refrigerator, in a glass jar, for up to 2 weeks.
Tips
Healthified PB + J
Toasted sourdough bread
Spread on PB or almond butter
Then layer on the jam!
Topped with bee pollen for added benefits
